Meet the Creator
Lisa Perlstein, PhD
Lisa Perlstein is a children’s author and play-based learning designer who created Kedi & Jake to help young children practice everyday values through stories and play.
A former professor of marketing and international business, Lisa began creating Kedi & Jake after becoming a mother and seeing how naturally young children connect with simple stories, repetition, and playful everyday experiences.
Today, she develops Kedi & Jake books, learning resources, and interactive programs for families, schools, and libraries. Her work focuses on turning concepts like kindness, honesty, respect, and positive choices into experiences toddlers and preschoolers can understand and practice.
